YOGA... Yes Please

So, I have recently gotten back into working out. I am starting to feel a tad obsessed. I love the classes I take, and I love doing cardio. Unfortunately I have to do the elliptical because of my jacked up foot, but I still enjoy it. I go to Turbo Kickboxing 3 times a week, and try to take the lifting classes on the other days. I don't like to lift. I don't want to get any bigger, but I know it is good for toning.

Yesterday I was planning my workout schedule for the week, and was curious to see how many calories you burn doing Hot Yoga. I did hot yoga last year for a couple of months and was obsessed with it... it was just REALLY expensive, so I stopped. I looked up how many cal's you burn in 75 minuets... 850!!!! SO, yes, I am going to start going to Hot Yoga again. Tomorrow will be my first attempt. I just need to find my yoga towel... my yoga mat is already in my car :-)

I am only going to go to Yoga twice a week. Tuesdays and Fridays. I think that will break my week up a little with working out.

Workout Schedule:
Monday: Turbo Kickboxing/Body Pump
Tuesday: Hot Yoga
Wednesday: Body Pump/Turbo Kickboxing
Thursday: Turbo Kickboxing
Friday: Hot Yoga
Saturday: Body Pump/Turbo Kickboxing

With having six days to work with, I will be OK if I miss one of those days. I am trying to do at least 5 days a week. Last week I only did four... oh well!

I have my goal... to look and feel healthy. I will admit that I did weigh myself at the start of this new "obsession" of mine, and I am counting calories... but I am not being too crazy. I cheat and eat whatever I want on the weekends, but when Monday comes I try to stay strict.

So, Yoga... I am ready for you... time to get my yoga on and sweat sweat sweat!!!

Supercross 2011

This is my second year in a row going to Supercross. I must admit, I hardly knew anything about dirt bikes until I started dating Robert. I really never even knew that people raced them... but, to my surprise, Supercross/Motorcross is actually a pretty big sport, and I love it. Robert rides dirt bikes, and I think it is sexy. Some of these riders, just because they ride, are super cute. Take away the bike though, and not so much.

This year it was held at Dodger Stadium. I have never been to Dodger Stadium, but it was cool. We had super good seats... and had a blast. We went with Kenny and Jenn again. It was fun.
